My stonesetting work started a few years ago in Iona when I felt stones along the road looking at me asking me to pick them up and when i did, I felt that I needed to stand them upright and find the right placement and when I did, they seemed to just click into place and the whole energy field of the environment shifted to another level.
For a couple of years I have been working on private properties, gardens , woodland and in wild places, creating sacred space wherever I go, raising the frequency and energy of a place within the awakening consciousness of Earth.
Stone
setting is an ancient practice which began during the transition from humans
being nomadic and following the moving earth energy lines to beginning to
settle. Standing stones were used to ‘fix’ the
moving ‘energy lines’ and make the energy available for cultivation
and culture in a balanced way.
Today
much of this knowledge of balance has been lost as we build without
consideration of the energies of nature.
We can
learn to become sensitive again to the energies of the earth.
Wherever
we walk in a landscape, if we pay attention, there will always be something we
can do to enhance the energy and vibration of a place, be it by clearing
something or by moving and ‘setting’ a stone or a piece of wood – drawing
attention to a particular spot and focusing the energy.
We will
practice to see and feel this as we explore the Hawkwood grounds and apply our
sensitivities in the surrounding woodland and pastures.
It is
hoped that participants will then take this skill and awareness to wherever they
go, bringing healing and balance to the environment.

Gabriella
has a background in biodynamic farming and gardening. She is a sound healer ,
cellist, singer and song writer who has travelled extensively holding musical
meditations for healing, peace and alignment to highest purpose in different
countries. She also does sacred stone setting work in different countries.
She
co-facilitates inner growth workshops with her empowering and healing use of
sound and music and her healing approach to the environment.
